wash dollars value for entire box

Last night to a friend who is BIG into coins and was asking him for a few 2X2's, and some other questions as well as if he had found any wash dollar errors yet, He said no but he had a unopened box of wash dollars sitting on his shelf in his office, he might just let it sit for a while since as it is, the box id worth $100 over face value right now. The info is not up on his website yet but i am interested to see his opinions on all of this

Considering they are minting 300,000,000, I can't see them going up in value anytime soon.

 

Well they are now, i just saw a unopened box on the bay for over $1500!!

 

There was an unopened box for $1500, but it didn't sell.

There have been a couple boxes for $999+$20 shipping, and the 2007P sold... for $999.

I think there are better investments for $1100.

 

i think i would research very carefully any coin or coins before spending my money. just my opinion.
