Obviously acid gives a coin a rough appearance. Looking through some random websites to get some picture examples, i stumbled upon this one, and it stumped me. Opinions?
it very well could have bee soaking in a corrosive. Tbh i think youd need it in hand and to do a chemical analasis to be sure.
I don't believe so. An acid would not have left some areas unaffected congruent with areas of deep pits. More likely a "ground" coin or just physically abused.
