I hope this isn't in violation of the site's policies, as I'm not advertising since this auction is over. It's for a bunch of standing liberty quarters. I'm pretty upset, because in the picture I uploaded, all coins could be seen clearly, but Ebay, seems to have shrunk and decreased the quality of my photo. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=8348481249 I thought that the opening price seemed reasonable, especially since many of the coins are in better than good condition. What do you guys think? The reason I'm asking, is because this is the 3rd time it was listed.
I agree with you ! ebay not showing 3 of your coins & pictures are not that good . if I was a collector of them I would bid on them decent coins for $30.00 bucks. try uploading 2 or 3 pictures to auction maybe all will be shown . I,ve never sold on ebay just purchased. but it,s just a thought. good luck
The quality of EBay's picture hosting service leaves a great deal to be desired. You would probably do much better by putting your pictures on a website, and linking to them in your auction instead of relying on EBay's system. Since I don't collect U.S. coins I can't even guess about your pricing.
Never use ebay's lame shrink (tm) technology. Like Roy said, it is much better to link your pictures from a site and you will get much better bids, hopefully.
Hey Satooko K u said u dont collect american so are u a canadian coin collector if so contact me on my thread im looking for canadians. From r12g14
Crap for 10 bucks ur not loosing anything and those coins look pretty good but i agree with the 2 above me to like from antother site.
Ebay is going to do what it takes to make your pics 400x400 pixels. I've seen them crop, shrink and distort to make that happen. There are a number of free online hosts for photos, and I highly recommend www.robshelp.com as the place to go if you want a nice Ebay auction template. As a regular Ebay shopper, I'd like to see a little more discussion of coin condition in your auction. You can include as many photos as you want if they're hosted off-Ebay, and a couple closeups (personally, I'd want to see the '27-D and '30-S) would go a long way towards the sale.
