I am curious to know what causes this and if it's a valuble error? Is it double die? There is also a few spots in his hair. Any info is greatly appreciated. Thx.
My guess is that they may be die chips There are different types of errors that can be on coins, cracked die, striking errors, planchets defects and others but not always doubled. There are certain errors that people like to collect or purchase I guess, not just doubled. I do not sell any, but various types of errors sell more then face value
