Found out the hard way that if you are new to photobucket and move a image from " "currency" to "vignettes' your previous posts are lost making it necessary to repost the original image all over again,this is the reason for the reposting of my presentation at the end of the post below.
you mean you moved an item from a folder on photobucket, to a new folder... and then the link to the old one became invalid? If so, then it stands to reason that it would happen like that. The link pointed to a specific spot on the photobucket server, by moving it to a new folder, the specific spot changes, making the old link invalid. Just like using a path on your own harddrive.
Thats exactly what I did...what a mess lost pictures in posts all over the place.Thought I was organizing my pictures but was moving posted ones as well. Live & learn the hard way ,will not do it again !
