AARRGGG!!! Oh ! So.. Sent off two bank boxes of LP4 to a guy on ebay.. I have sold so many of these.. I love it since they fit in a flat rate box PERFECT.. 2 Boxes.. with a 3rd in the middle (Stuffed with Peanuts).. All three in a box give ZERO room for movement.. First I felt a bit odd since when the guy paid he wrote "Must Be sealed Boxes or I will return", .. I Packed Extra well and TIGHT.. Well today I get an email saying.. Get this.. The bank boxes had open during shipment.. the rolls were opened and loose.. and ALL of them were Heads/heads..And that several rolls were opens and searched.. and accused me of doing it before shipping.. I picked these boxes up and Auctioned in a BIN all the same Day.. when did I have time.. and why would I.. THIEF... I wrote back.. that I had taken pictures of the box and how it was packed.. I also explained that I took a picture through the holes in the box and It clearly shows many Reverse showing.. .. I will wait to see if he goes any farther.. I have Blocked him as a buyer .. but can see he buys lots of 1909VDB's so thought I would give all sellers a heads up.. Sellers name is .. antangzai .. Item # 150394498477 What a drag.. I hope I don't have to fight it out with PayPal.. I have pictures.. hope its enough.. I gave the guy a GREAT deal too.. I think he must have gotten another box or two and then changed out bad rolls for good.. I guess???
I had a case that was much like this. In my case I contacted some of the buyers previous sellers to see if they had experienced problems with the buyer... as you would guess they did. When I confronted the buyer with this fact and advised them I would fight any charge backs and alert the post office, ebay and the police to his theft tactics he suddenly dropped off the face of the earth
Sorry for your troubles. Thanks for the heads up though. I would contact your local Post Master at the Post Office and advise them of what had happened and that you suspect that the buyer has stated that the shipment was opened during transit and the items enclosed were opened and searched during transit . The delivery post man should have a record if the item was opened and re-sealed by the post office. If nothing else they will watch this guy for other sender complaints.
That's sickening. A brazen fabrication. You may want to post this creep's id on the CU (PCGS) forum as well. Many eBay sellers hang out there as well.
Thanks.. It hurts, not just the $$ but the Feedback at 100% is now going to drop.. I have not had any contact back yet.. But I bet he is waiting the 7 days or whatever PayPal says before you can open a complaint.. I called them and Ebay to give them a heads up as to what he is trying to do.. I first wrote him and said I would return $$ if he sent back TWO SEALED boxes.. Then he gave me the line about the rolls being switched with all Obverse/Obverse Rolls.. I wrote him back and said forget it.. If he is going to be a total dirtbag then why would I even deal with him.. I hope PayPal can see what he is CLEARLY doing..
If this guy is such a creep, why does he have 100% positive feedback and glowing reviews? Not a single negative comment or even the hint of a problem. Is the eBay feedback system that flawed?
Good question. This whole thing has got me upset and looking for another way to sell what I want. This guy is just a unhappy sick person out to try to screw others. Dirtbag is too good of a description for him. Don't let him drag us down to his level. Great posts everyone.
