I replied on your other thread that I thought it might be a counterstamp of some kind, but the pic is still too fuzzy to make anything out except the "L". The letter(?) before it might be a small "i", but I can't really tell. If it is a counterstamp, it's highly unusual that lower and upper case letters are used in the same punch. It almost looks like a "2" before the "i", but that could be anything. Good luck on this one Marshall. Bruce
