In the contest that was held to find the design of the coin that would eventually become the walking liberty half, are any photos avalible of the other designs submitted? I found a newspaper article from 1916, that describes a half dollar with the statue of liberty with the american flag in the background on the obverse, and an eagle on a mountain crag on the reverse. Obviously, this pattern was not selected, but I would be curious to see what it looked like.
