W AE better?

    I need some clarification about the difference between a W UNC AE and a UNC AE purchased without the mint mark. Would a coin collector (not metal investor) only be interested in AEs that have the W mintmark or would they also be interested in the non mint marked coins as well such as 2001 AE gold or silver ounce?

    its all prefferance. i am not sure wihtout looking up the numbers, but i think the W mintmark coins sold in fewer numbers then the UNC.

    Personaly, i collect all three... but i am weird liek that :D
