    Picked up a fairly scarce example, it is fairly worn but attributable at least. Only 9 lasted on RPC with 3 in core collections.

    MACEDON, Koinon of. Vitellius. 69 AD. Æ 26mm (10.21 gm). Laureate head left / Macedonian shield. RPC 1616; Gaebler 245. Near VF, green patina. The Koinon, or federation, of Macedon was a group of cities that issued a joint coinage in the name of the federation. Thessalonika, one of the member cities, is the most likely mint.
