I'm sure some of you are aware of the virtual coin album project I have been working on for the last few weeks. Basically, it is a online version of a dansco coin album, designed to look just like it would in hand, and it is pretty simple to add your own coins to. the virtual album can be stored on your computer for your own viewing, or if you have a web host, you can even put it online to share with others. I am offering this 5 page Dansco 7070 type Set album for FREE. You can try it out and see if you like how it works. Below is a preview of two pages from the album. You can see my virtual 7070 at www.newplace.site11.com/7070final Ask me for the link to download a copy of the site and add your own coins. If you're interested, ask me for a link to download the files. If you like it, I am willing to create additional custom virtual albums of any dansco coin album. My asking price is only $3/page. Any album in the dansco series, I will make a virtual version of, just ask. These albums are designed for screen resolutions of 1360x768 or higher, and for modern web browsers (anything before IE8 may not display properly). You must be able to take nice pictures of your coins, and crop them to the proper size, and make the corners transparent. Adding coins is pretty simple, just crop the coin obverse and reverse to the proper dimensions and make the background transparent. then name the file as "coin14_s.png" (the number 14 should be changed to the appropriate hole number in the book) and add it to the images/coins folder. Below is an example of the franklin half in my album. (more detailed instructions included in download)
I apologize if the website with my album is slow or doesn't load. I use free hosting, and it's not very reliable.
