I was able to obtain an almost complete set of vintage Capital Plastic coin holders that were still new in the original packaging. I tried doing some research on the holders and they appear to be manufactured in the early 1960s. Beyond that, I have little information. These holders are similar to the modern versions but the insert is made of cardboard instead of plastic.

The modern versions retail from between $50 and $70 each. Any idea of the value of the vintage holders either individually or as a set?

It's probably going to be quite low because of the cardboard inserts.

I don't know if there's any premium for those or not. I would imagine that someone out there must collect this kind of thing; I just haven't seen it.

You might consider searching eBay ended auctions for more detailed information on pricing.

Sorry I can't be of more help.
