Victoria 1847 Undecimo Crown

  1. A fellow detectorist recently came across the rusted remains of an old shattered safe while metal detecting. When searching the area around the safe he found some coins including this lovely Victorian Crown dated 1847 and with Undecimo etc in raised lettering around its edge. He has sent the coin to be appraised/valued and is hoping for good news. Is it correct that only a few thousand of these were minted and therefore attract good prices? See photos.
