vespasian coin

    Looks more like the Antioch to me, Like these:

    Of course without showing a rev. it tough to say what you have.

    Alexandria, as far as I know, used LH, LA, LZ, LG

    Also there is one that has a B on the Rev. that has his son titus on it and vespasian on the obv.

    Otherwise...I have never seen that mark (not that I have seen them all) and if it IS from antioch, the mark looks wrong and the coin just looks kinda wrong...but I wouldnt be an expert on authenticity.

    Hello,

    Your coin is a bit disturbing. As noticed by Drusus, it would be OK with a lituus, where the symbol on your coin looks more likethe "infinite" symbol
    I would send a pic from obverse and reverse to Michel Prieur, who wrote a book about syro-phenician tets. i give you the adress in a PM
