Hello all. Meow has been doing nothing but penny CRH lately. Meow has found quite the pawful of minor finds here and there. Meow has been surprised at how many pennies from the 20s and 30s Meow has been finding. Usually from previous experience Pennies in the 30s or older are quite hard to find CRH. Meow has been having issues with motivation so does not post most of Meows finds. Meow sleeps half the day and has no reason to even leave the home besides for some food and an occasional trip neighboring towns to acquire more rolls to hunt. But Meow thinks Meow has found quite a unique but very worn penny. It is a 1919 s. It is very hard to see the mint mark, but Meow can see two dimples in the lump of a mint mark under certain light angles. Which makes Meow thinks it is a S rather than a D. As a D would just present one dimple in the middle instead of two that line up vertically. The really unique thing about it is that it also seems to be a cud near the edge of where the date is. Meow scratched at it with a claw just to make sure it is not dirt or debris. There actually is a ramp to the rim edge instead of just a rim edge. Its too bad the coin is so worn, as it would be an amazing find in much higher grades. What do you guys think about it?
Meow is quite sure it is 1919 as certain angles the reliefs reflect light more that the fields. And Meow just checked it again and because you mentioned it, and Meow can see a reflected vertical bar in the third date position that reflects just like the 1 in the first position. The picture provided does not show the angle where the light is reflected. And Meow would agree that just by the photo provided it does look like a zero.
