With a great sense of personal loss I am reporting the passing of a great contributor to this, and other forums. The passing of Brad Swain - forum name Tbirde - from the liver cancer that kept him from contributing for the last several months, was announced on the PCGS forum this morning. I never had the privilege of meeting Brad in person, but he is without a doubt the numismatist from whom I have learned the most over the years.
It always saddens me to hear of the passing of a forum member, especially one of his caliber. He shall be missed....
Sorry to hear of his passing. I hope there is someway to extend to his survivors , Our collective sympathy in this time of loss.
