here are some more of my recent re-scans. These note are some of my absolute favorites!!! I apologize to anyone who is on dial-up!! The file sizes are quite large at around 3-4 megs each, but IMHO certainly worth it! Each pic is 600 dpi. For those who are on dial-up, each of these scans will be on my site hopefully tommorrow. Pm me, or post a thread here, and i will let you know when they are posted. 1896 Chief - obverse 1896 Chief - reverse 1901 Bison - obverse 1901 Bison - reverse This last note, is one of my most rare, and the most expensive note i own. 1886 Tombstone - obverse 1886 Tombstone - reverse I hope you all like them as much as i do
If you don't mind my asking, how much did you pay for the Bison Note. The Speelman-White Bison was the first large size note I ever bought and was the note that got me going on Large Size notes when I was real young. I love the other 2 notes also.
as shabby as the Bison note is, it still sold for alot. well, alot when compared to my yearly budget! My budget is a bit larger now then back then maybe only because of inflation Anyway, i paid about $150 for it about 7 years ago i think it was. Im not sure if it would sell for more or less now, but i wanted an example since i was a kid, so i picked one up when the price was right.
I would be willing to bet that it would go for much more than that today. Back in around 1995, I picked up a Bison in F to VF condition for around $400, so I would say that you got a pretty good buy. Now the Bison seems to be one of the most popular large size notes.
This is the bison note that I want. Its only 77,990.00. What a deal! :hail:http://cgi.ebay.com/11111111-radar-...ZWD1VQQ_trksidZp1638.m118.l1247QQcmdZViewItem
