Saw this posted on another board, thought I'd post it here also, NFC Coins. I like the layout, and they have a sweet selection of coins. Mostly upper end, but still nice. :thumb: Thought I'd post it here for y'all. Phoenix
Thanks, May have to take a closer look at the war nickel set. Seems I am having a hard time forcing myself to spend my discretionary stash right now. Maybe I am listen to Lou Dobbs on CNN to much. Seems to be a nice site and I have read some good stuff about them.
It has been a while, but I have bought from them more than once - eBay, not their web site. Never had a problem except that most of their coins did not sell cheap.
Right and now I am on their mailing list. They have some nice coins, but the prices are a little more than I usually want to spend. Still I do like their website and I do check it often.
I also bought a 72 lincoln DDO from them. They will bargain. I asked for 10% off on store purchase and after they thought about it for a few days came back with a slightly less but they would pay the postage. Some of their slabs are ???? as to the pricing. Check this one "color" makes the difference Jim http://www.nfccoins.com/item.aspx?pid=4224-62&cid=49
I feel your pain. I was a loyal customer of Anaconda, so you know I will pay big premiums for toned coins, but NFC's prices are too high even for me. They are charging $350 for this 1948-D Jefferson Nickel that has a Numismedia Wholesale price of $21. The is a premium of 17X wholesale. If the coin was an MS67, I would jump all over it. http://www.nfccoins.com/item.aspx?pid=3476-08&cid=59
I just bought a couple coins from them. I hope that they are as nice as they look in the pictures. They are more expensive than other dealers though.
