    Hello,
Searching through my great grandmother's coin collection, I've found a very interesting US coin.
One side is the winged liberty head dime dated 1944. The other side is a one cent wheat ears design. It's fairly thin and is definately one solid coin. I can't find anything in books or online about a coin like this.
Does anyone know anything about this?
Any info. would be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks!
    Lauren

Could be a magicians coin. can you scan and upload some pictures of it?

Jim,you might be right but I don't think so.Unless the coin was copper colored on one side,it would be fairly useless to a magician. However,it could be some sort of novelty coin.
Lauren,if you have a digital camera or a scanner, please post pics of the coin, both sides. You might possibly have something worthwhile there.
TIP:since you're new here, keep the photo/scan under 100KB or they won't upload here.If you can't do that, email them to the admin. he will take it from there.:smile
