Does anyone know if Venezuela revalued their currency in the last few years? My Krause books only show up to the year 2001 for this country, even though my book is the 2007 edition... I got this note today that is a 2 Bolivares, and in the Krause books shows the smallest denomination at 5000 Bolivares dated 2001.

    anyone?

The Venezuelan Bolivar was revalued in January of this year. What the Venezuelan government did was remove 3 zeros from the notes. So a old 2000 Bolivar note is now a new 2 Bolivar note.
