    Can anyone help me with general price guideline...

    Have seen 'em sell for as low as $325 - as high as $525. If I really wanted it and it looked like this one - HERE - I might go $425 ;)

    Which Doge of Venice was this issued under?

    Aidan,
    It was Venice's 60th Doge - Andrea Contarini

    He was one of eight from the Contarini family to become Doge.
    Andrea was elected doge in 1367, and during his reign the war of Chioggia (a war between Venice and Genoa) took place (1380); he was the first to melt down his gold and silver plate and mortgage his property for the benefit of the state.
