I just thought I would pass this along. I just got an email from a dealer I have consigned stuff with that he is closing his Vcoins store due to "greatly increased monthly costs", and is moving to Numismall. I went to numismall and it appears there are quite a few dealers there now. I wonder if the new owners of Vcoins will be chasing away more dealers? It seems they believe the time is right to start extracting much higher profits from their site they bought. I think it will be interesting to see what happens, as the only value of sites like this is both dealer participation and public traffic. Btw, this is not an ad for Numismall at all, hope it doesn't sound like it. I just know many here shop at Vcoins and may be wondering what is happening there, at least the little bit I have heard. Also btw, the only thing I consigned to this dealer were some books I had duplicates of, I am not selling any coins. Chris
It will be interesting to see the effects on the price of coins this will have (on both sites). I like some of the search functions on Numismal. I have not bought a coin from them yet, but I'll give it a try sometime. Your right, allot more dealers there since the last time I looked.
