I have about twenty good Roman imperial coins closing tomorrow morning (June 30, 2017) among the 900 lots in the current vauction: http://www.vauctions.com/APViewInCat.asp?id=7 Opening bids are quite low and there are great deals to be had throughout the auction, unless they get bid up, which has not yet happened. It used to be thought that summer is a good time to buy because most competitors were busy doing other things-- the "summer doldrums." Is it still true? Here are two with low bids so far: Neaoplis stater, $90 Aurelian, denarius (not the usual denomination) $45
