These came with some old Annam coins and were taped to a rotted out carton binder displaying the different Annam types. Are these they or are these nay? #1
This coin may have been etched by some bored guy and singular in it's field or may have been a series of etchings done at a particular time or by a random group of people with a similar purpose, say like the "Hobo" nickels. Does anyone know or know of similar etchings? #3
:hail:Considering the obverse, it is a medal commemorating the Centennial of French Revolution ( 1792 - 1892 ) - Froggy
Thank you. I figured as much, but what I'm after is not so much the obvious. I'm trying to find some specific info such as: who designed it? what mint? it's political purpose (was it made to reinforce nationalism due to the current governments political situation)? is it in a medal or token catalogue? and so on.
