Doing some hunting on ebay and came across an interesting one . So I did some image searching for varieties with a MAD . Hows this one look ?
Looks like the right fat stuff and if posted here would likely be quickly dismissed as DDD, MD or plating blisters. Better images that most, but, still far beneath those shared by the good Dr or Wexler.
The pcgs image I posted ( MAD ) is DDO-002( fs-102 ) . I don't have to coin yet, got mailed out two days ago . I did some cropping on the lower bust, for the doubling . Now, here's an image from coneca site .
The bust doubling at best is a far stretch for the eyes not relying on imagination to fill in the blanks. The fat and correctly shaped devices on the other hand, stick out like a sore thumb even from the crappy auction pix. Nice score.
99 cents on ebay . http://www.ebay.com/itm/1984-Lincol...zdIAAOqLp3n9dGw14wwhc%3D&orig_cvip=true&rt=nc
Here's hoping it's AU, or maybe even MS, instead of XF, once you get it in hand. I would never attempt grading that one from those pictures knowing it has a hide like an orange peel and those images leave plenty of room to imagine. MS would be a serious home run. Is this one required for any set registries?
Not right now, but I am waiting for Pcgs, to have a variety special . I have quit a few FS to send in ....
