OK, I know that title probably is not very original, but I picked up the ddr-001 1952 proof quarter over the weekend. I now have the "super-bird", the "super-bird" with the re-engraved tail, and the Type A/Type B ddr. What I don't have is a plain old 1952 proof quarter. I'm beginning to think that the basic variety is the rarest of the bunch. That is my 299th pre-statehood quarter variety. I hope 300 is a good one.
