Guys i was advised to start a new thread rather than posting multiple pieces in the same posting. How about this 1880 o that was in a roll of 1880 o morgans. Looks kinda like a vam16 set right o? Has die cracks from eagles right wingtip halfway into the word america. Possible checkmark in 8? Another member said it looks like a vam 11A Any opinions are welcome and thanks for any information
I recommend you post full images of the obverse & reverse and not thumbnail size. You'll see that when you go to post the image
Full size obverse pics would help as well but It does have the die scratch on the olive leaves of 11A and mint mark looks correct.
Pictures could always be better with this sort of thing, but I agree with COOPER12, it's reverse C3p, EXCEPT, I'd need to see the obverse and see what obverse the reverse C3p is paired with. Could be VAM-11A This reverse is shared with VAM 6C, VAM 6D, VAM 11, VAM 11A, VAM 55, and VAM 68. it's a later die state of VAM-6C's reverse. Long story short need more details on the obverse to be sure which obverse it's paired with to nail down the VAM.
yeah, looks like 11A to me actually. I'm not sold on the obverse markers, but reverse looks right. http://ec2-13-58-222-16.us-east-2.compute.amazonaws.com/wiki/1880-O_Sort_by_CDLT it's Reverse C3p. but is it the 1128 obverse? circled in black looks like the clashed "N" maybe....
