I do not have a price guide available right now but Newfoundland coins are always collectible and get pricey in higher grades.
I wouldn't consider them "higher grades", but they're certainly nicer and more valuable than those in the two other threads I've seen.
Both coins are 80/20 silver/copper alloy, so there is bullion value in addition to numismatic value. There won't be much of the latter; both are circulated and relatively common and the Dime is the largest-mintage issue of that sub-series. With that said, Newfoundland coinage enjoys dedicated specialists and these are more liquid, for instance, than other Canadian coinage of the era.
I recently obtained a 1943 and 1944 Newfoundland cent that are uncirculated in my opinion. The 1944 is pretty close to red. Is it worth sending in? Also, for Canadian coins is ICCS preferred over PCGS or NGC?
