I recently picked up the following at a local coin shop for $14 total. The small 2 ring binders are in okay shape, but the boards are in like-new condition (no problems whatsover). Did I get a good deal? What would you guess the value of these? Not really interested in selling at this point.

    The National Coin Album #1
    Half Cents board #386
    Large Cents board #387A
    Large Cents board #387B
Minor Coins (Small cents, 2 cents, 3 cents and Nickels) board #388
20 Cents, Dimes, and Half Dimes board #381

    The National Coin Album #2
    Quarters board #382
    Half Dollars board #383
    Silver Dollars board #384
    Silver Dollars board #385

    you did very good.

Any idea on value? There is a Mehrig site that sells old (possibly brand new) Wayte Raymond boards, but not the Type Set boards. Any way to put an est price tag on these, other than fishing on Ebay? Any help would be much appreciated. Regards, Ron

Here are some pictures of the 2 albums, the 9 US Type boards, and 3 close-ups of three randomly selected ones. Hope this helps some. Thanks in advance.

Thank you. I found David via Google and emailed him but have not heard back. I will update this post if I hear back from him.

I also found that Mehrig site, but they only offer 3 newer non-identical versions. I wonder if what I have are more desirable since they are older and the original Wayte brand. Mine were made in the late 50's or early 60's.
