Are *'s and radar value's subjective or certain more woth more than others? It seems alot of people desire notes with unique serial numbers but is there an actual book value for each one like there are for coins? for example, a 2003 one dollar bill B36582576*(just made that number up off the top of my head). do you located that bill in a book and say, oh its worth $25 dollars in this condition, $10 for this and so on... Thanks
yes there are several books that have serial number breakdowns. Example: Bill Denomination:1,2,5,10,20,50,100 and so on Serial number ranges: What district the bill was printed: Number of bill printed: Price from VF, CG CU, Gem CU Here are a few links to such books: http://cgi.ebay.com/Standard-Guide-...goryZ378QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem http://cgi.ebay.com/Standard-Guide-...ameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem#ebayphotohosting These are similar to what I have. Also you can do a search of ebay for past auction to get an idea of selling price. Remember there is a difference in "Whats it worth" or "Whats its value" Then again a item is only worth what somone is will to pay
to answer your questiosn easily.. YEs... on all questions yes - stars and radars are worth more then a normal note in the same series/district/print runs ... yes they have books where you can look up by series date, serial number... and other qualifiers.. for value
thanks guys I figured there was. I wonder if people will look at me weird when i break it out every time people give me change!
