I sold an average circluated $5 bill from 2001 with a 00000xxx serial (don't remember the number) for 20 bucks. I don't remember the number, but below a certain number indicates it's from the first run of the series, which yours might be. If you were to sell it on ebay (for an estimated value), the demand is saturated by other people selling something of equal or greater interest as to yours... thus deminishing it's value. Overall I would say your bill would be worth between 40-60.
An interesting tidbit: 1024 is 2 to the 10th power. It would also be 10000000000 in binary. Neat number! Fish
It's also a computer measure (1024MB=1GB, etc.) though I'm not sure the computer geeks will be interested.
Actually, as a computer geek, I probably would be interested. Most computer geeks know the powers of two quite well (since, as Sam said, they're used to measure ram). It would be quite impressive to show to my friends, who also know about computers. If you do sell it on ebay, you might want to play this angle, maybe even list it under a computer category. Now, since I don't collect currency, I don't know what I'd pay for it, but I'd be more interested in a ...0001024 than, say, a ...0000999.
