I have these two notes and would be grateful for some advice about how much they might be worth, please. Thank you in advance. Banknotes photo 1.jpg Banknotes photo 2.jpg

The German note- maybe $5. And, the Peter I 500 rouble is worth approximately $10 (not very much).
Unfortunately, these notes don't really have a high demand.

Yes, they were quite beautiful. Also, they had immense buying power during their time period. If a 5 rouble gold coin has a melt value of $189, (according to NGC), then this bill had a buying power of just under $20,000.

I have an UNC German bill that I bought for $7.

    The 500 ruble I have I purchased for $12 or $15.

So, bot high value but amazing history and very aesthetically pleasing.

Isn’t it insane that a single piece of paper now worth basically pocket change was once a years salary for a worker? Amazing stuff.
