I have come into my late Grandfathers collection & im having some troubles determining value of some items of which is a set of 10 2 dollar bills in series from 1976 With a "B" NY seal. Also a roll of 1958 wheat pennies in uncurclated condition. Any Advice is helpfull I did buy the Whitman books for U.S. & Canada today.
Though rare in circulation, the $2 bill is quite common on the coin-collecting market, so they really are only, as a set, maybe $25-35. Consider that $20 of this is the face value. By Whitman Books, do you mean the coin holding folders or a reference book? A Whitman folder will put the "circulated" back into "uncirculated".
No not the holding folder type I have ordered a number of 2x2's & bill holders that are designed to go into 3 ring binders I imagine that the stuff I have been given will not hold much value but I do want to preserve what they do . Forthe books I got the Official Red bok for U.S. coins & Canadian Coins the second not being whitman but Charlton my mastake
