Welcome to the forum. The value of coins depends upon many factors, including face value, condition, mint mark (if any). Without clear pictures, about anyone can do is give a more or less educated guess. The coin values listed in the 32nd Ed. (2005) Krause catalog are: - 20¢ to $400
You are correct on the 1964 5C it is a Rhodesian coin. English money One Shilling 1957 Two Shillings 1961 & 1956 New Pence 10 1968 Also Rhodesian Twenty Dents 1977 My question is how do I find someone that would be interested in these type of coins and would like to purchase them, Thanks for your reply Merryls
Welcome, Merryls. Without some idea of condition of your coins, there is no way to determine value. Once you determine the condition and the value, and have made 10 posts to this forum, then you may list them for sale in the Open section of the forum. I would recommend going to your local library and looking these coins up the Krause Catalog of World Coins. The coins are listed by country and denomination and it is pretty easy to use. You may also want to check the completed auctions on eBay to get an idea what they're selling for. Unless they are Uncirculated, you may have difficulty selling them.
Unfortunately Merryls, unless your coins are uncirculated, or virtually so, they are the kind that dealers put in their 10¢, 3-for-$1, or similar boxes or bowls for collectors to rummage through. Dealers only buy those coins in large lots, such as complete collections where they really only want a few items, but have to buy all or none.
