VA Quarter Dollar

    I have a VA Quarter Dollar. On the reverse side, the word Quadricentennial is misspelled as Quadricent_nnial. The "e" is not there. Any comment?

    Most likely a grease filled die but without pictures it's hard to tell.

    We would need large, sharp photos to make an informed opinion, but as furry stated, it sounds like a grease filled die, which is a common occurrence at the Mint.
