V-Nickel missing a star?

    1907 V-Nickel error?

    So I was going through some of my Grandpa's old coins and came across a Liberty Head Nickel that was in a bag with a bunch of other poor grade nickels. I was about to toss it aside when I noticed it was missing a star.

    Is this an error or what? I've searched the internet for anything related to it, but haven't found anything. Thoughts?

    Most likely a grease-filled die. Interesting but not worth a whole lot.
