Ok so I have a pretty valuable piece I had mailed from CO to MO yesterday via usps express mail guaranteed by noon. I know this may seem like a horribly dumb question but what are the chances I will get it today?
I use USPS Express all the time. I can only remember it being late one time. I've mailed from California to Maryland and other East coast areas on one day and had it received even before noon the next day. Another plus with Express is tracking actually works.
Not all of the overnights are guaranteed, surprisingly. If they said it was though, they have to refund the shipping costs if it is not there on time.
I think they only guarantee before noon in certain areas, but they should've made that clear at the time you arranged the shipment.
Pray that it is an hour late! That way you only waited an extra hour, and get a full refund of the postage.
I just sent an Express package yesterday after 1 PM to New Jersey. This was scheduled for a 2 day delivery. I just received confirmation it arrived today, 1 day and 1 hour early.
Ended up getting here around 11 am. This was my first experience with flat rate guaranteed shipping with usps. I prefer fedex and ups but for $20 this made it from Denver in 14 hours.
Always nice to hear a story that has a positive ending. But, I feel there's something missing here...... show us the coin!
