I bought a trial bottle of verdi-vare , now not for sure if I should use it
For my personal coins not the ones on the webstore, has anyone used it or read about it?

I have some and have used it on common, non-collectible copper. Good results. Thad knows it all.

I'm not sure how NGC feels about it but PCGS has included it among the treatments its Sniffer detects. So they will BB a coin for it. The Sniffer is used for all Secure Plus submissions but not regular submissions unless they suspect foul play.

Personally, I would use it on raw coins for albums, let's say, if the verdigris is bad or active. Verdigris can do serious damage. But not for anything needing slabbing. Then again, I can't think of too many coins I'd submit for grading if they had verdigris. Perhaps old, valuable copper.
