I was wondering if anyone uses a USB Microscope here. If you do, can you please post your feedback about the model and a few pictures taken with it? I am looking for one and I am sure many in this forum are looking for one too and the reviews and pictures would help everyone.

    Thanks

I haven't actually used one but I spent about 20 minutes watching a demo of one at the FUN show in Tampa and picked up some literature on it. The name was Dyno-Lite and you can see it at: http://www.bigc.com/

I was pretty impressed. I didn't purchase because I wasn't sure if it was better than my current setup a Cannon EOS Rebel XS with a 500 Macro Lens which also has USB capabilities.

There have been many many threads on this topic. Go up to the right part of the blue menu bar and enter USB Microscope in the blank white space and click on the magnifying glass icon below it to process the search.

The dino lites are good for closeups but not for coin images. Even the closeups get very grainy very quick.
