The poll option on CT should be a little harder to find.

    Opinion:
1883 Morgan - need better photos of both sides.
    1982 Quarter - Spend it!

Beats me. I minted a daughter that year so I guess it's all relative.

Because the OP was born about that time. Anything before that is considered ancient history.

Some rather snarky comments here guys. This is a new member, and given her name it could well be that English is not her native language, and given the title of the post it may well be that she is posting from another country. Try and be a little more helpful.

Welcome aboard Roxanna!!! Generally the people here are helpful, and you can learn a lot.

Given the colors of the reverse of the Washington in the picture, it COULD be that the reverse is missing it's outer clad layer. Given the picture I'm NOT sure if this is correct or not. When you look at the quarter from the side do you see 3 layers of color; white, copper (reddish), white? Or do you see only two colors; white and copper? If you see only two colors it may be that you have a clad quarter that is missing it's outer clad layer, which would be considered an error coin. Error coins can vary dramatically in price depending on the error and the type of coin. Washington quarters missing a clad layer are not super hard to find, so if it is that, then it might be worth $10 - $20, which is still quite a bit more than a quarter. On the other hand, if it is a normal 1982 quarter, then it is only worth a quarter, e.g. 25 cents.

With regards to the Morgan dollar, from the second image it appears to be uncirculated, however, from the first image it appears to be badly beat up, so I'd call it MS60, which would be worth somewhere in the $30 - $40 range.

You talk fine, sometimes they/we act like schoolboys

The 2 Morgan dollars about $30 apeice, the one on the bottom is a ASE bullion coin which is worth the price an oz silver maybe $2-3 over. 1964 quarter right now is about $3.25, the 2016 Kennedy is a novelty on ebay ? the wheat cent about 2cents and the Kennedy dime looks like play money

  13. What is that dime-sized coin that looks like a mini-Kennedy half dollar?

It is a mini Kennedy half dollar. I have an entire set of these little coins that I purchased at a Stuckey's (does anyone remember Stuckey's?) some eons ago. They are little plastic or metallic reproductions. All of mine have the same diameter. I can't say I know too much else about them except that they once appeared in novelty stores all over the place.

¡Bienvenidos al sitio, Roxana! Puedo escribir y hablar un poquito español. También, me gusta leer sobre las monedas en español, especialmente sobre las monedas de España, Uruguay y México.

Because they were born 10 to 15 years after 82 as apposed to being born 20 to 30 years before 82.
So by these standards I'm a dinosaur or worse yet a fossil !

Welcome to Coin Talk and to the hobby of coin collecting.

As to the 1982 quarter, it isn't anything special for the year. I'd just spend it. The others have been addressed by other replies.
