As I recall, all USACB needed for me to create an account was mailing address and method by which to accept payments. I'm sure if they asked for more personal info like DOB and SSN I would not have joined. I gave them my paypal username but I see they also allow checks, MOs, and pickup. I don't know what stipulations may go with those, but with paypal users, I suspect USACB can conform to any 1099 rules by saying paypal has it covered.
I checke I checked PayPal. Apparently they decide if you need a 1099-K and provide it. Paypal said "You have no tax documents for 2021".
I'll chime in and say I've happily bought items on USA Coinbook and likely will again if something pops up that catches my eye. Never sold there, I'm a hoarder
Well, I just made my first sale ever over at USACB, so we will see how this goes. Hopefully it leads to something productive.
I'm just getting back into collecting since almost a decade ago and, starting from scratch, I really like USACB from a buyers prospective so far. I plan on picking up a few coins from there in the next week probably, so I'm interested to see how it goes. I do wish that they had some sort of wish list/watch list function so I can save listings for future reference.
