    Has this coin got a flaw in it.The edge on 1 side is very much higher thasn the other.

    Looks to me like the coin is slightly off center. I have seen quite a few of these over the years.

    That is called a fin and it is pretty common.

    This is a very slight mis-aligned die strike. It does not add any value to the coin.
