usa 1829 dime with a curly base 2

has anyone any idea if this is the 1829 dime with the curl at the base of the 2 it looks like it has a tail at the end of the 2 but i wouldnt describe it as a curl

No, definately not a curl based 2. If it were, the base would, well... curl. (don't know how to better describe it) There should be a picture in the Redbook.

thanks for the info the 2 cant easily be seen with the naked eye i needed to enlarge the image to determine how curly it was
