US Treasury Award Medal 1941-45

Picked this from the ‘junk’ box at my LCS. 90% silver, 33 mm, 22 grams. Ran it a week on eBay and got 0 bids with $20 start auction. I ended and pulled it.
I don’t feel too bad, though
My Sutler Civil War token found with the same $5 handful just went to $270 bid. And 6 hours to go

These seem to pop up more and more. If I happen to find one (especially with the award winners name) I totally will treasure it!

 

I just don't see how this could end up in a junk bin, but
