This US Centennial Proof Medal is in it's original presentation case. This is why I have not sent in for a grading encapsulation. I was interested in any opinions if I should leave it alone as is or have it graded.
    Thanks,

Leave it just the way it is.

If it were mine I would leave it in its original case. Nice medal, is it a family heirloom?

No heirloom, bought it on ebay about 5 years ago ,from a woman who's husband passed away.Perhaps it was a family heirloom in her family. I've seen them before but never in the original case which she refereed to as a "Cattleman Wallet Case " original case is leather w/satin lined gold lettering. The beads that surround the Medal look like tiny pearls ,beautiful, compared to a plastic grading slab.
