If you haven't heard yet the US Mint suspended sales of two of it's silver sets, check out the link. Every time something like this happens it's a chance for the US Mint to potentially melt the rest of them and create a hole in that specific area of collecting. If they did that it would drive the prices of these specific sets to become highly in demand and excite all the modern collectors which, either way you look at it is free and genius marketing. So you think the US Mint is incapable of thinking this thru or is it simply a price adjustment? This is an entity of the US Gov't ya know. Anyone? :thumb:

Case in point: The 2009 ASE proof!! Took it away and look what happened! I'm just sayin! :D

Yakpoo mentioned it in one of his posts last nite Fret, but I think he gleened the info off the mint web site. Thanks for the link. I'm hoping for a sellout as opposed to another price hike.

    :zzzzzz: Old news...see Post #59

Seriously though, they say it's because a price adjustment is on the way...but they just had a price adjustment three (3) weeks ago and they're not adjusting the 2011 prices...Hmmm, what's "really" going on?
