Hi All, What would be the grade and condition of coins that are sold by the US Mint in their rolls?

The condition would be uncirculated. The grades could be anywhere from MS60 to MS70. You just won't know until you examine them.

  4. It may vary among denominations. Having searched and submitted a fair amount of Presidential dollars over the last few years, the range has been from MS-63-MS-67, depending on the president. Most seem to fall around MS-64-MS-65. The mint now does a deeper strike on the mint sets, that result in higher grades. So now, I only search the new rolls for edge errors, I don't even look for grades there any more.

ms60- ms63 if you are lucky you may get an ms65 in roll (but not every roll). Do not count on finding superb gems unless you get a lot of rolls. mint sets are different you will get really really nice coins in those
