US Marine Corps 2.5 ounce silver medal

I was all in on this one. Got one on order right away. Anybody else getting this one?

I got last years 2021 Air Force 2.5oz medal, and I'm on enrollment for a couple of this years Air Force medal.

They're all pretty kewl.

 

I bought the 2.5 oz Air Force medal, only because that was the branch I served in. I have an enrollment set for the 1 oz AF medal as well. I don't think I am going to chase the other branches. Not that I don't appreciate them, the medals just aren't cheap.

 

I grabbed one. I'm in for the larger medals. Got Coast Guard, Navy, and Air Force so far.......

 

Got an email today informing me that my medal shipped! I didn’t think they’d get it out this fast. I guess I didn’t pay attention to the details and assumed my order was a “pre-production” sale similar to that of the Morgan and Peace dollars.

 

Me too on the shipping confirmation but when I track it, it says 'label created'........that ain't shipped. I'll check back again tomorrow. Maybe, by then, it will be shipped...........

 

I havent gotten the shipping on mine yet, but its pretty easy to see these 2.5 are all going to sell out pretty quickly so there's not really a reason for the mint to hold back making them. The 1 ounce ones will be a different story having no limits
