Based on their reaction to this seizure US Customs must think the flood of Chinese counterfeit coins into the United States is something new.

Agents seize fake coins at O’Hare from China

It is encouraging that US Customs is stopping a few of the Chinese fakes but it is a drop in the bucket compared to the flood of fakes coming over from China. US Customs appears to be happy with finding a small number of Chinese fakes by happenstance rather than implementing a concerted effort to stop the flood of Chinese counterfeit coins coming into our country.

I am just surprised that U.S. Customs actually was able to catch SOMETHING suspicious. Too bad it's a little bit to late! There's already too many counterfeit Trade Dollars and other U.S. coins from China that "somehow" (hint: Probably U.S. Customs fault in the first place) made their way into the U.S.

Thanks For Sharing That Hobo :),

I enjoyed this little tidbit at the end of the article:

Since the beginning of the year, agents at O’Hare have seized more than 1,700 false drivers licenses that were shipped from China.
