So I got a gift card for Christmas to a place that sells books among many other things. I have the 2007 Red and Blue books and I wanted to see what everyone suggests buying...is it worth it to upgrade the red and blue books yearly? I only got the 2007 edition because my mom uses paperbackswap.com and they were virtually free...so I've been trying to find a way to avoid getting the 2011 editions even though it is probably one of the best ideas. Is there that much of a difference in values between then and now, besides the prices of gold and silver? Are there any books that you could suggest that cost less than maybe $30? I know topics like this have been done to death, but I want to ask anyway.
